Through guided relaxation, focused attention, and therapeutic suggestions, hypnotherapy helps influence how the mind perceives and processes pain signals. In this module, learners explore how hypnosis can be used to reduce physical discomfort, improve emotional resilience, and support healing processes in the body. By working with the subconscious mind, hypnotherapy techniques can help clients reinterpret pain sensations, relax the nervous system, and activate the body’s natural ability to regulate stress and discomfort. Students will learn practical hypnotic strategies such as relaxation techniques, imagery, dissociation methods, and suggestion-based interventions that can be applied to different conditions including chronic pain, migraines, recovery from medical procedures, and psychosomatic symptoms.
